The importance of fire risk assessments

To comply with HSE regulations, employers must conduct and regularly review fire risk assessments of the premises. As part of the assessment, employers are required to identify fire hazards and the people at risk; evaluate, eliminate or mitigate the risks; record findings, produce an emergency plan and providing training; and review or update the fire risk assessment on a regular basis.
